Celebrating Excellence: UIII’s PhD Program in Islamic Studies Achieves “Very Good” Accreditation from BAN-PT

Depok, September 16, 2025—The PhD Program in Islamic Studies at Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) has achieved another noteworthy honour after receiving a “Very Good” (Baik Sekali) accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT).

This ranking was made official through BAN-PT Decree No. 7611/SK/BAN-PT/Ak/D/IX/2025, following a rigorous field assessment process conducted on July 2, 2025. The accreditation is valid for a period of five years, effective from September 16, 2025, until September 16, 2030.

The “Very Good” predicate affirms the program’s exemplary standing in fulfilling rigid national standards of higher education. It acknowledges the program’s robust curriculum, advanced research output, and profound contribution to the development of contemporary Islamic thought.
