Jakarta, July 16, 2025 — As part of its preparation for the upcoming Institutional Accreditation Field Assessment (APT), Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) conducted a simulation and review of its Institutional Performance Report (LKPT) and Self-Evaluation Report (LED) on July 15–16, 2025, at Aston Priority Simatupang, Jakarta.

The session was chaired by Dr. Chaider S. Bamualim, MA, Acting Head of the Center for Quality Assurance (CQA), and featured Prof. Dr. Ris’an Rusli, MA, a professor at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, as the keynote speaker. The event was also attended by university leadership and cross-unit administrative staff, including representatives from the Directorate of Academic Affairs, Organization, Human Resource and Legal Affairs, and the Center for Information Technology.

Finalizing the Accreditation Documents

This simulation marked a key step in finalizing the institutional accreditation documents before the official site visit by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). During the session, Prof. Ris’an Rusli conducted a comprehensive review of UIII’s LKPT and LED, assessing data consistency, verifying supporting document links, and ensuring the completeness of structural components.

Data updates in the LKPT should continue until August 2025, while financial data may be finalized by the end of December 2024. Additionally, 2025 data may be prepared as a precaution in case it is requested by assessors,” said Prof. Ris’an.

Following were some of Prof. Ris’an recommendations including: 1) Establishing an Ethics Council at UIII to strengthen institutional governance, 2) Introducing formal Senate membership regulations, 3) Issuing an Academic Handbook endorsed by a Rector’s Decree, and 4) Updating data on international collaborations and research activities to showcase global engagement.

Commitment towards Excellent Accreditation

This initiative demonstrates UIII’s strong commitment to ensuring that its academic governance, human resource management, and quality assurance systems comply with national accreditation standards. The APT 2025 team also addressed the importance to harmonizing content and data within LKPT (quantitative) and LED (qualitative) so that a consistent institutional narrative was ready to be presented to the assigned assessors.

As an internationally oriented postgraduate university, UIII remains committed to promoting accreditation practices that are accountable, structured, and transparent, in pursuit of academic excellence and global competitiveness.
