Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII), through its Center for Quality Assurance (CQA), is preparing to launch its digital-based quality assurance system, the Quality Assurance System (QAS). This preparation was discussed in the Pre-Launching Meeting of UIII’s QAS, chaired directly by the Acting Head of the Center for Quality Assurance, Dr. Chaider S. Bamualim, MA. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Information Technology Center (ICT) and the Head of the Media and Communication Office on Monday, June 2, 2025.

The meeting took place in the Executive Meeting Room, 4th Floor, Rectorate Building, and focused on discussing the technical readiness and content of the QAS system, which is scheduled to be officially launched on June 12, 2025.

QAS should not only be an accessible and informative platform, but also be able to visually and substantively represent UIII’s core values,” stated Dr. Chaider. He also stressed the importance of innovation and benchmarking against similar systems in other institutions to ensure that QAS remains relevant, adaptive, and aligned with the standards of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI).

In her presentation, Regiani Yunistika, S.Pd., MEd., explained that QAS is developed with a structure that includes several key features such as: Home, About, SPMI, Activities, Accreditation, News, and Repository. Each menu contains sub-menus designed to support reporting functions, quality documentation, and accessibility to regulations and legal documents.

From the technological support perspective, Yanuar Firdaus Arie Wibowo, ST., MT., confirmed that ICT has provided full support, including for the current Internal Quality Audit (AMI) reporting system. He added that QAS is designed to be interactive, allowing implementers and auditors to check data in real-time.

Meanwhile, Drs. Dadi Darmadi, MA., also emphasized the significance of viewing QAS development with a long-term perspective in mind for both PPM and UIII. “Beyond the launch, we need to build this system as a sustainable platform capable of reaching key users such as assessors, leadership, and public in a wider landscape,” he said.
