PPM’s Next Move for AMI Preparation: Integrating Developed Application into Research & Community Service Standard

Center for Quality Assurance (CQA), Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) held a meeting on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, focusing on integrating the Internal Quality Audit (AMI) application into the university’s Research and Community Service (PkM) Standards. The meeting, held on the 4th floor of the Rectorate Building, was led by Acting Head of PPM, Dr. Chaider S. Bamualim, MA, and attended by relevant university leaders and staff.

The event, was a followed-up on discussions from previous meeting held on May 19, 2025, underscoring the need for an integrated information system to enhance AMI’s implementation. In his opening remarks, Dr. Bamualim that the system must ensure marked one significant issue, that system must the under construction seamless data access and cross-unit reporting.

The key is to build an integrated system that supports our shared goal: the continuous improvement of UIII’s quality,” he stated.

One of the main issues raised was the limited functionality of the current system at the Directorate of Research and Strategic Cooperation (DRSC), which only tracks grant-funded research while other research activities. Hasn’t fully addressed. Integration with the Central Library system and reviewing business processes to prevent functional overlaps.

Yanuar Firdaus Arie Wibowo, ST., MT, Head of the Center of Information Technology (CIT), stressed the importance of aligning all systems with institutional accreditation indicators.

All systems should point to a centralized database that refer to the accreditation standards. This ensures data consistency and alignment between AMI and institutional accreditation,” he said.

The takeouts include agreement on follow-up actions, specifically, technical coordination between DRSC and CIT and a plan to integrate databases from the Central Library, DRSC, and the university’s central system that is currently developed.
