May 6, 2025 – Center for Quality Assurance (CQA) at Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) continues to show serious commitment in improving the quality of higher education by optimizing information technology utilization. CQA therefore hosted a coordination meeting on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 entitled “IT Application Support for AMI Year 2025 – Education Standard”, gathering some of the crucial supporting units, including Directorate of Academics, Human Resources, and Student Affairs, Directorate of Organization, Human Resources, and Legal Affairs, and Center of Information Technology. This meeting was a strategic forum for formulating concrete steps for the implementation of the Internal Quality Audit (AMI) Year 2025, with a focus on strengthening Education Standards. This audit is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to build a modern, accountable, and digitally based quality assurance system.
Yanuar Firdaus, ST, MT, Head of the Center of Information Technology (PTI) UIII, shared the development of application support for the AMI process. He revealed that of the total 73 indicators that have been set, only about 20% of the data can be optimally supported by the system currently developed by the IT team.
“Of the total 73 indicators, only 20% can be optimally supported. This is both a challenge and an opportunity for us to continue improving the existing IT system,” he said.

Furthermore, the meeting emphasized the importance of adjusting AMI’s current data to be aligned with the established educational standards. The completeness of documents in each study program was also highlighted, as part of the institution’s readiness to undergo audits. In addition, strengthening assessment indicators based on student data that already has a Student Identification Number (SIN) is considered important to ensure the accuracy and validity of information. Equally important, cross-unit cooperation continues to be encouraged to create solid system integration in supporting the successful implementation of digital audits.
“This meeting is certainly a strategic step that we can take to ensure that the quality assurance system runs optimally, digitally, and well integrated,” added Yanuar.
Through AMI Year 2025, supported by information technology applications, UIII targets to build a measurable quality ecosystem in line with national and international standards. This step reflects the University’s driven objective to become a transparent, modern, and globally competitive higher education institution.
