Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII), through its Center for Quality Assurance (PPM), continues to refine its preparations for the 2025 Internal Quality Audit (AMI), which is scheduled to take place in July. During the full-board meeting on the 2025 AMI and Admissions held from May 15–17, 2025, several significant milestones were successfully achieved.

PPM, in collaboration with the Directorate of Academics, Human Resources, and Student Affairs (DASK), as the party responsible for fulfilling the documentation requirements of the first pillar (Dharma I) Education, has prepared six (6) key documents as part of the AMI requirements. These include: 1) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), 2) Guidelines, 3) Technical Instructions (Juknis), 4) Proposed Rector’s Regulations, and 5) Minutes of Meeting. These documents form a critical foundation to support the audit process in achieving improved governance quality in academics and human resources in alignment with the university’s vision and mission.

Of the required documents, two major developments have been made in response to the 2025 AMI requirements. First, additional clarifications or sub-sections were added including definitions of academic status, cut-off periods, academic achievements, and study success. Second, a new document titled Guidelines for Increasing Prospective Student Interest in UIII was created as an innovation to enhance UIII’s quality management system.

By the end of the full-board session, the team had completed 10 (ten) out of the 20 (twenty) required indicators, with these 10 documents projected to enter the finalization stage by June 2025, ahead of the audit implementation the following month.

This activity reflects UIII’s concrete and ongoing commitment to building a strong culture of quality within the institution. Through the transparent, structured, and indicator-based implementation of the 2025 Internal Quality Audit (AMI), UIII demonstrates its seriousness in ensuring that all aspects of academic governance, human resources, and educational services meet the highest quality standards. This initiative is also part of the university’s strategic efforts to achieve sustainable institutional excellence at both national and international levels.
