To ensure paperwork process works efficiently, an Akreditasi Perguruan TInggi (APT) document team is assembled based on each member’s area of interest and competence. This team is structured based on the nine accreditation criteria set by Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (BAN-PT), allowing each section of the document to be handled by the most competent individual. Once this team is established, the next step is to identify the materials, information, and data needed to satisfy accreditation requirements. This process continues with the collection of relevant data and information, both from university work units to ensure the completeness and quality of the materials to be included in Laporan Evaluasi Diri (LED) and Laporan Kinerja Perguruan Tinggi (LKPT).

The task distribution for completing the LKPT and LED is carried out systematically according to the nine accreditation criteria set by BAN-PT. Each criteria, namely: (1) Vision, Mission, Goals, and Strategies; (2) Governance, Management, and Collaborations; (3) Students; (4) Human Resources; (5) Finance, Facilities and Infrastructure; (6) Education; (7) Research; (8) Community Service; and (Outcomes and Achievements of the Tridharma, is assigned to a team that has the required capabilities and responsibilities in its respective fields. This distribution ensures that each part of the document is completed by individuals who best understand the substance of each criteria. In order to preserve consistency and coherence among the criteria in the accreditation documents, inter-team coordination is also maintained.

The LKPT and the LED are reviewed with individuals with an extensive amount of experience with the university accreditation process. The goal of this review is to assess the completeness and accuracy of the presented data and to ensure that the documents objectively reflect the actual conditions of the university. Reviewers will analyze sections that are well-prepared and aligned with field realities, while also identifying areas that do not adequately represent the institution’s circumstances. The outcome of this review serves as the basis for revising the documents before their submission to BAN-PT, ensuring that the final report is truly representative and meets accreditation standards.

This stage marks the final revision of the LKPT and the LED following feedback from reviewers. All recommendations and improvement notes have been implemented to ensure the accreditation documents are accurate, consistent, and provide a comprehensive representation of the university’s actual condition. After verifying the completeness and conformity of the data, the documents are declared ready for submission via the Sistem Akreditasi Perguruan Tinggi Online (SAPTO). This submission process signifies the culmination of the entire accreditation document preparation cycle prior to assessment by BAN-PT.
This stage marks the final submission process of the LKPT and the LED via SAPTO platform managed by BAN-PT. Prior to uploading, the APT team ensures that all documents have undergone thorough verification and validation, including revisions based on reviewer feedback. The submitted documents must meet all technical and substantive requirements as outlined in BAN-PT guidelines, such as data completeness, file formatting, and submission deadlines. Once successfully uploaded, UIII will receive an official confirmation from the SAPTO system, serving as proof that the submission process has been completed and that the documents are ready to enter the assessment phase by BAN-PT’s appointed assessors.
Following the submission of the LKPT and LED documents via SAPTO, UIII promptly prepares for the Field Assessment (AL) with a focus on two primary aspects: data completeness and technical readiness. The accreditation team verifies the consistency of all documentation and supporting data, including facilities, academic-related documents, and financial reports, while also preparing staffs/students/lecturers/stakeholders for interviews with assessors. On the technical side, preparations include drafting the visit agenda, inspecting key locations such as classrooms and the library, and conducting a dry run consisting of interview simulations and briefing sessions. Additional preparations cover the provision of meeting room facilities and administrative protocols to ensure the assessment runs smoothly and accurately reflects the institution’s actual condition.
